The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse has more history than any building on the property. The home was built in 1856 by Rufus Thorne. Rufus served in the Union Army during the Civil War and lived in the home until his death in 1923. Now, nearly a century later the home has been remodeled for Rivers Lodge Guests to enjoy. The Farmhouse is the centerpiece of the property and is one of the most historical sites in Linn County.
